Social Media and Community Support Role  Overview @The Baby Cloud Gravesend 
 

We want someone to join our team to support the running of our much loved business. We want help to reach local mums and help them to join our Baby Cloud Tribe, as well as some flexible support for varying tasks associated with our day to day running. 
 

Overview 

This flexible, part time role supporting the growth of The Baby Cloud Gravesend. This could be anything from 1 to 4 hours a week depending on business needs. 

It would suit a mum who is already on her phone during nap times or evenings and would love to turn that into something meaningful, flexible and local. 

The role is primarily home based and can be worked around your own schedule across the week. There may occasionally be opportunities to support in person at our venue at The Cyclopark, but this is not a core part of the role. 

The focus is on building connections with local mums, growing our online presence, and helping maintain the warm, supportive feel that The Baby Cloud is known for. 


Hours and Pay 

This is a 3 month trial role to see how much impact someone like you can have on the business. Up to 3.5 to 4 hours per week, flexible across the week 

Hourly rate: £12.12 


Key Responsibilities 


Instagram Engagement 

  • Message all new followers with a warm and personal introduction  

  • Engage with local mums and relevant accounts  

  • Identify and follow new local mums and complementary businesses  

Content Support 

  • Create and post daily Instagram stories using guidance provided & your own creativity  

  • Share content that reflects real life, connection and community  

  • Support visibility of classes, availability and key updates  

Community Building 

  • Support and help manage WhatsApp groups for mums  

  • Engage in local mums WhatsApp group, sourcing, sharing helpful and relevant content  

  • Encourage conversation, connection and a sense of community  

Collaboration Support 

  • Reach out to local businesses and mums for potential collaborations  

  • Help build relationships with aligned local brands and communities  

What We Are Looking For 

  • Keen to work with trialling this role to grow in to an integral part of the business 

  • A mum local to Gravesend or surrounding areas  

  • Warm, friendly and confident communicator  

  • Understands mums and early parenthood  

  • Comfortable using Instagram, Tik Tok and WhatsApp regularly  

  • Reliable and able to take initiative with guidance  

  • Happy to communicate in The Baby Cloud tone, whilst still being themselves  

  • Represents the “no mum left behind” ethos
